Not all behavior is well documented on the internet, nor do all members of a given species act the same. You only need to look at humans to prove how great the diversity can be. What a great story.wolf21mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07699017294641611884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10013142.post-26671568248611660492008-03-17T21:23:00.000-05:002008-03-17T21:23:00.000-05:002008-03-17T21:23:00.000-05:00What drama! :) (And fantastic pictures!)What drama! :) (And fantastic pictures!)Blackswamp_Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14395380166485303934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10013142.post-39232005707513120052008-03-16T13:24:00.000-05:002008-03-16T13:24:00.000-05:002008-03-16T13:24:00.000-05:00Now that's MY kind of "soap opera"!Now that's MY kind of "soap opera"!lisahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18133943147518051559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10013142.post-37586022705102378792008-03-15T09:21:00.000-05:002008-03-15T09:21:00.000-05:002008-03-15T09:21:00.000-05:00What a treasure of photos and events. What a treasure of photos and events.Lisa at Greenbowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07743973292900758183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10013142.post-15522014232593684322008-03-14T09:55:00.000-05:002008-03-14T09:55:00.000-05:002008-03-14T09:55:00.000-05:00Thanks y'all. Just wish they'd leave us a few! I guess we could put up a fence if we wanted to keep them out. Truthfully I'd still want to keep one pond unfenced, so they'd still visit. Before farm ponds (otter-feeders), I guess otters just fished in rivers. And fish can probably hide better there. That does make me think we should probably provide some sort of underwater fish shelter though.Ruralityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06616461213179182660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10013142.post-52049627589491036862008-03-13T20:02:00.000-05:002008-03-13T20:02:00.000-05:002008-03-13T20:02:00.000-05:00Okay, okay, you win! This seems to be a good indicator for it. I don't suppose there is anything legal you can do about those otters, is there? So very, very nifty. I am most envious that you get to see otters up close-ish like that!
