Ginger, entranced by the screensaver. Since being neutered, my best cuddle-buddy. The worst at getting into the trash. The biggest eater. The heaviest. The most easy-going. The softest.
Georgie. The most independent. If she could talk, she'd be saying, "I do what I want!" a lot. The sneakiest. The one who wants to kill and eat my parakeet. The friendliest, but the one who never wants to be picked up.
Dusty. Still shy with people, but a bold explorer. The quickest to pick up bad habits from the others. The smallest. The most mistrusting of the dog. The prettiest. Vocalizes the most.

ReplyDeleteAn ex girlfriend and I got two cats from a city shelter. I'm going to see them next weekend. I remember showing them their first snow on the roof. They were mystified and thrilled.

ReplyDeleteIt's been my experience that torties do tend to talk a lot. If we ever get translation... I wonder how we'll take it.
We had three cats way back when. It all kind of worked out. Fortunately Bernie, the oldest, the Boss Lady Cat, was a born teacher and saw to it that everybody got along.
I think it is cool how animals all have their own personalities..

ReplyDeleteWe got these three from the same person, so they'd grown up together and liked each other from the start. I had intended on coming home with only two cats but...
Actually this is the third time I've had three cats, but the last time was the result of getting married and combining cat households. :)
They are all lovely, but my favourite is Ginger. I would love to have more than one cat, but mine prefers to reign alone in his kingdom.
