Booty

We found this in the woods. I wonder if it has anything to do with Dave's unsafe socks.

  1. Socks? Boots? What are the wild places becoming? Too few that is what. We are losing our wild places day by day here where I live and it saddens my heart.

Let's hope you don't find the foot or a previously attached leg somewhere!

I have to admit I do enjoy finding what I guess is evidence of former habitation from a century ago, but in general I agree with doubleknot.

    Nice moss!

I'm with doubleknot and wayne. Somehow, though, I don't think this rubber boot is from a century ago. Is the think filled with moss? It's even coming out through the toe!

  6. I agree with Doubleknot and Wayne. At least the moss is making use of someone's litter.

  7. DK, I think this was washed up in the creek. But yeah, everywhere you go in the woods, there's trash.

Wayne, I left this where it was because the moss made it seem like art!

Pablo, I didn't look inside. It might have bitten me. :)

FC, no I wish I'd thought of that, LOL. I started to title it "Das boot" but figured people would ask what it had to do with a boat.

YSW, you've obviously never seen the boot planters! Really, they use old cowboy boots for that all the time, around here anyway. Kind of cute.

Rachel, without the moss, litter... with moss, it makes me smile for some reason. :)
