What kind of a camera did you use? My digital camera won't focus at such close range. Incredible color. Was the sun behind the blossom or behind you when you took the shot?
Infinity, I use an old, old Mavica CD-1000. Check to see if your camera has a button on it with a picture of a flower... that usually means close-focus. Some people don't realize they have one! On mine you have to zoom all the way out and then press the flower button. Then you can focus really close.
