Meeting Elvis

Cute little stuffed dog?

No, he's real!

My sister's family got a Bichon Frise puppy for Christmas. A white powder puff of a dog.

Vicious puppy attacks shoelaces.

My sister and her new baby.

For you garden enthusiasts, that's my Mom's really nice St. Augustine grass in the background of the outdoor pics.

  1. I've been in love with Bichon Frises since I first encountered them. My husband prefers large, 'noble' dogs. When he retires I know we'll be looking at dogs again. I'm going to slide my laptop over to him. I know these pictures will soften him up:0)

Hah! Puppies are awesome. I need a puppy back in my life. Until then the kitties will have to sub for them (but don't tell the kitties that).

  9. It is a cutie. But your sister does know that it's not a real dog, right? ;)

  10. Cathy, maybe one of each? :)

JC, both are fun, and I'd have a hard time deciding which I like best.

Ericka, I'd never seen one before and he was a lot cuter in person than in the pictures.

Beth, well he was playful when he was awake! He sleeps a LOT. :)

Cathy, with the number of kids in my sister's neighborhood, I'm hoping this puppy will be pretty used to people.

Thanks TB. I am unsure if this is a spam comment or not but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

FC, only if they are very, very small ones. :)

KF, I've heard that puppy feet smell like Fritos... but I can't bring myself to test that theory!

RA it was such fun to rub his little tummy!

S4M, when he saw little dogs like that, hubby used to say, "You might as well not even have a dog!"
