Water features

From the same garden as the pictures of last week. Four views of a fountain:

A daisy bath among white iris.

Another fountain.

A small waterfall. I believe this was a new feature in the garden.

-----

I very brilliantly strained my back while lifting some 50-pound pails of soapmaking oils (without using my back brace). Sitting bothers it the most, so I may not post as much or visit other blogs as much as normal for a little while.

  1. Heavens woman!! I hate to hear you're down in the back. That is just no fun and hurts like a bugger :( Please rest and get better soon-

The pictures you posted were beautiful. I personally could sit there all day- and enjoy the view.

  2. Hope you are feeling better soon. Lots of rest, ice before heat, and maybe a good book. Take care. Oh, nice pics too, what a beautiful garden.

I am still drooling over the character in that fountain cherub... moss, aging, *sigh*

  6. Get well soon! I have the same tendency to do everything as though I'm 21 and in great shape, because that's my favorite perception of myself. (And because reality is just a downer!) So next time you're tempted to play "Zena, Warrior Princess"...just call on your personal "Hercules" to lend a hand! :)

  9. So sorry that you're having discomfort with your back. Sure hope things calm down and your soon right again. I just posted a picture of my angel statue wearing an ermine stoll of snow. My garden is shabby compared to the beautiful photos you've shared. Still it's fun to dream and do the little we can.
