Rurality, thanks for visiting the other day and making me feel better about the hummingbirds! They're starting to come into the area but I'm still waiting :o)
You have a nice blog here. Loved Ginger looking after the bunnies - cute!
After my blogging break for a week or two or three, I'll be back!
Thanks Mary. Well we just saw our first hummingbird this weekend! Of course we didn't have the feeders up yet - he was trying to get nectar from our wind chimes. (We have the feeders up now!)
Carol, when Hubby showed first showed me the pic I couldn't stop laughing. We have tons of rabbits here but we rarely spy them all congregated like this.
Bevson, yeah! I haven't read that in years but I remember the feeling of the book very well. :)
I thought that was a "photoshopped" pic when I first saw it, then I read in your credits that your hubby took it...that pic is AWESOME I love it!!! I wouldnt be surprised if you see it floating around the internet..you should put it on "cute overload" online.
No, it's not Photoshopped at all - I mean, I usually adjust the brightness or contrast sometimes, and it's cropped for sure, but the rabbits and the cat were really that close together. He got several shots, getting closer each time. The last pic shows two of them hopping off down the driveway!
Oh yeah, Ginger is definitely well fed. :) I think he eats more than the other 2 cats put together.
My husband & I got a kick out of this picture. We don't have many rabbits around here, so it's a welcomed sight to see them fluorishing somewhere else.
What a great moment to capture. You sure do have a lot of bunnies there. Is that Ginger with his back to the camera?
ReplyDeleteWhoops, I forgot to give Hubby the photo credit for that one. He shot, I cropped. :)
ReplyDeleteYep, that's Ginger. And before everybody yells at me, I'll say that our cats are not outside all the time.

ReplyDeleteCute fuzzy butt! =^..^=
ReplyDeleteThat is a great picture and a great caption.
ReplyDeleteCarol, May Dreams Gardens
Too funny. He seems very non-nonchalant about interrupting an important bunny meeting. Sorta reminds me of Watership Down.
ReplyDeleteJill, yeah, on all of them! :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture, what is interesting is that Ginger is not chasing the bunnies, she must be well fed.
ReplyDeleteI was sure this was photo-shopped. What a geat picture. Are you 'sure' it isn't photo-shopped ;0)

Hahahahaha! That's a great shot...it's like kitty can't decide who to chase first.
ReplyDeleteThat would have been a perfect "wordless wednesday" entry.
ReplyDeleteor... even better. Have a caption contest. although..Yours was great.
Lisa, the dog is a lot more interested in chasing rabbits... the cats just find them interesting, I think.
ReplyDeletePamela, I find it difficult to remain wordless, on Wednesday or any other day. ;)
so sweet your Ginger must be an angel
ReplyDeletemy cat would have never sat still ..
Thanks for stopping by I love your blog and will be stopping in often ..
Cherry
Cherry, well I don't know about him being an angel! :) He's very sweet when he wants to be, though. And soft. His fur is very silky.
