it seems that given enough time they will always arrive at some kind of truce. i know for the first few weeks i always wonder what the heck i was thinking by adding another member to the menagerie!
Well that was strange, I've been checking your blog my usual several times a day, and it was never updated. Suddenly there are days worth of postings. Was I in a coma?
Jasmine still scares the other cats sometimes... she just wants to play, but she's so much bigger than they are...
For a while there Jasmine was in danger of having the nose scratched right off her face.
But I've seen her touching noses with Dusty and Ginger too so there is hope that they'll all get along someday.
I suppose I have not been giving Jasmine her proper blog time... we won't even discuss the parakeet and the gecko!
Clare it was probably just reloading from your computer's cache I suppose. I think there is a setting for that somewhere, to tell it to reload every time. Or just try hitting "reload" manually if it looks like things should have been updated!
Strangely enough it doesn't seem to be reloading from the cache. If I use the URL http://rurality.blogspot.com the last post I see is your Jan 11 post "please be quiet", however if I use http://www.rurality.blogspot.com I get them all.
Awwww! One of my cats (Moses) likes to parade around in front of my Jazz with his tail swishing her nose, but it is not friendly...it is done to annoy my poor dog who is a herding dog and thinks that cats need to be herded...preferably off the property. She has suffered with SNS (scratched nose syndrome) many a time.
It looks like more than a truce- Georgie looks downright enamored with Jasmine. I think tabby cats are pretty independent but very loyal once they make up their minds.
Living in rural north central Alabama. Currently overstocked with pets and poultry. Having lived in several small towns and larger cities, country life is taking some getting used to.
The photo is of Jasmine, fearless protector of the homestead from coyotes, bobcats, deer, herons, airplanes, butterflies and fuzzy little bunnies.

Jaxsun has come to an uneasy truce with the three cats. Uneasy.
Is Jasmine's hackle (I hope that's the right term for the hair in her neck) ruffled or is that just the wind going through her fur?
It's just the wind! It's been really windy here lately.
I'm glad they are getting along. I was really worried about Jasmine's safety for a while.

awwwwww- now that's love!
It's good to see Jasmine again. The cats and other creatures have been hogging the blog lately.
Linb is right! Hooray for Jasmine pictures!

What a cute pair. Total love. You'd never know they spent any time at all not getting along!
Clare, I have that happen quite often. I go to a blog that I've checked daily and suddenly find several posts that I've missed. Are comas contagious?

Well that is odd. I haven't changed anything!
