I'm trying (in vain) to catch up on my blog reading after being away, so only this morning did I see the suggestive tomato Dave Bonta had posted last week, I think.
This okra brings to mind something similar. Dilbert's tie is just a euphemism, no? (I'm vaguely remembering that after Dilbert had a monumental date, his tie was limp the next day...)
We should be peddling vegetables like these to the Chinese medicine dudes - convince them they're aphrodisiacs. Figure out a way to grow more okra like this, and you could save the rhinoceros!
Shame on you -- I love okra and haven't had a bite all summer (no garden this year) and here you go posting a picture of okra taunting me! And you seem like such a nice person, too. ;)
Living in rural north central Alabama. Currently overstocked with pets and poultry. Having lived in several small towns and larger cities, country life is taking some getting used to.
The photo is of Jasmine, fearless protector of the homestead from coyotes, bobcats, deer, herons, airplanes, butterflies and fuzzy little bunnies.

Yeah, this okra could get me killed in Iraq...
I think you are right!! It's cute though!!
Hahaha, that's great. Now go see if you can find a pointy-haired vegetable to go with it :-D
Oh, funny! All right then; I'm posting my eggplant.

Neat veggie.
Okra ... ugh.
Subversives everywhere!

love your blog..if only everyone could be as entertaining and interesting at the same time!
OK this is all Lorianne's fault... I swear I was originally just thinking about Dilbert and nothing else!
JC, a pointy haired veggie would go great here, unfortunately my eggplant refuses to cooperate.
FC, I can't believe you don't like such a good vegetable...
Thanks y'all!
Love the okra. I have Bette Davis's thighs in carrot form on my blog http://lifeontigermountain.blogspot.com/2006/08/vegetable-of-month.html
