Game cam in action again

The previous location for the game cam was getting zero pictures, so we moved it. The new location is not exactly Grand Game Central, but we did manage two shots.

Doe trio. The leftmost deer seems smaller -- I wonder if she was just born this past spring?

Teenager turkeys!

Rather fight than switch...?
I did fight it, but this morning I was forced to switch to new blogger. I'd been holding out due to all the problems I'd seen on other blogs (mainly the inaccessibility of archives). Please let me know if you have any problems.

  1. I love the photos. The deer look pretty healthy, don't they?

  4. I finally broke down and switched the other day too Karen! I held out as long as I could! Everything seems to be working fine though. Oh! Thanks for the eggs; they are big ones!

Your blog comes across fine in my Mac/Firefox environment. It even appears to be letting me leave a comment. (Hope your back is getting better!)

  7. Thanks y'all. I think I've gotten it all switched over ok now... putting the tags on everything was truly a pain.

My back is better but not back to 100% yet.

When I switched, many of my links mysteriously disappeared. This sucked because I use my blog as an "anchor" point to visit my other favorite weblogs. I just open the links in a new window and *bingo*. I also noticed that Blooger doesn't let me insert a "a href="..."target="blank" tag so the linked pages open in their own windows. That wasn't too cool, either.

I guess we all wussed out.

Rurality looks as wonderful as ever.
