Puffed sky
Puffed sky
Sorry for not being here. I still can't sit for long periods of time without my back letting me know (via little shooting pains down my right leg) that I shouldn't.
Not much has happened. The night of a thousand sleep interruptions was followed by the morning of entirely too much caffeine. Complete with hand tremors! (I hummed TMBG's Lie Still Little Bottle all day long.)
I had finally gone to the doctor, and came home with three little orange bottles. (I was reminded that I am really and truly an adult when I can say things like, "Please give me a shot.") I'd thought muscle relaxers always enduced drowsiness, but the original brand of horse pills he prescribed put such a hair trigger on my sleep that I had to call and beg for something else. Near-total deprivation of REM sleep might not necessarily turn me into a serial killer, but I wasn't willing to experiment. The new ones are tiny, and leave me a bit loopy, so if none of this makes any sense, that's why.
Canada Geese have seemed restless, honking their way across the property several times a day, and even at night, which was new for me. Maybe I just slept through it all before.

I accidentally turned off the comment feature when this was originally posted yesterday. This is a test to see if it's working now...
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky with birds.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot of the sky filled with grackles. Sorry about your back.
ReplyDeleteI wondered why I couldn't comment...thanks for clearing up that mystery.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to say how much I love your photos. That is an awesome sky!
Having a bad back myself I can say whole-heartedly that I feel your pain. Hope you get some relief soon.
ReplyDeleteMonthly visits to the chiropractor keep me moving and help keep my pain to a minimum.
Oh, and beautiful sky by the way!
Thanks y'all!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your back is still huring- that is no fun what-so-ever. Have you ever read The Bad Back Book? If not, and I'm not trying to be pushy, I would highly recommend it. The exercises really helped me.
ReplyDeleteMy geese have been acting the same way. Strange huh? I hear honk honk honk going one way then honk, honk, honk going the other. Maybe it's this crazy weather we've been having. I'm confused too and wish it would make up its mind- :)
Sorry to hear about this - back pain and especially sleep deprivation are things I know about all too well.
ReplyDeleteYou mention above that you're having HTML problems. Email me if you need help. I don't know a whole lot, but I usually know how to figure it out. And I can explain, for example, why it's good form to put that extra space and slash in "br" tags.
KF, I will have to look that one up. Hubby and I both could probably use it!
ReplyDeleteOh dear... extra space and slash in BR? I know some html but nothing that is any newer than 10 yrs old!
Please do! That book helped when nothing else did and I am forever grateful for someone telling me about it. I went from walking in constant pain, no sitting what-so-ever and bawling my eyes out at night- to my happy self now. The exercises are simple and easy to do and really help. The guy who wrote the book helped paratroopers who squish their discs all the time. I really encourage you to get it or I will send you my copy if you want :)
