Living in rural north central Alabama. Currently overstocked with pets and poultry. Having lived in several small towns and larger cities, country life is taking some getting used to.
The photo is of Jasmine, fearless protector of the homestead from coyotes, bobcats, deer, herons, airplanes, butterflies and fuzzy little bunnies.

That is one fabulous picture!!
Excellent! Glad she's sitting, which is more than I can say for my ducks!
Love those dark eyes and those white white feathers. She's serious.
so perfectly captured!!
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww what a sweetheart.
Great Photo!
LOL, Very cute for sure!
I know I sure wouldn't mess with her. She's a lady on a mission. The mission is her nest.
She looks like an escapee from a MASTERCARD commercial. "Priceless"
toooooo cute!
Thanks y'all! I'm not sure if she's going to be successful or not. I think the strong of 100+ days may not be ideal.
And if this looks threatening, you should see her when she's protecting a duckling!
She looks real serious about it too~ I wouldn't go near her myself :)
Wow... yup, I would say that you don't have to speak Duckspeak to catch the meaning there. *grin*
Whuff! I'll keep that phrase in mind; good thing to know when one encounters it. Impressive, at least if you've ever been nabbed by a duck.
