Beautiful picture of that coyote! Almost makes me want to have one too.

There were coyotes coming down into Washington, DC when I was living there. They came down through Rock Creek Park, and they'd get into the trash behind embassies and stuff. Believe it or not, you could follow the parks almost all the way into DC, and not even leave the woods.

Great pix!

Wow, I just love those photos! How did you capture the one with the coyote?

we have the turkeys for sure However the coyotes seems to be harder to get pictures of....but they are THERE

The coyote looks smiley and optimistic and the turkeys have a certain haunted, hunted look. Must be coming on Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to let you know that we've chosen your photo of the coyote as one of the top five October photos in our first "Creature of the Month" feature!

I saw a coyote for the first time the other morning. I'm so amazed that you got this picture! We hear them all the time (which I love), but they don't usually come around the house during the daylight hours.

Anyway, great photo and congratulations!

Thanks y'all. These pics were taken by the game cam. Click the game cam label to see more photos taken this way. It's amazing what all goes on after dark. :)

We're at the craft show now... I hope I'll have more time to blog once it's over.

Sept. 2nd 2oo7 Calera, Alabama - and very much in the middle of town ......I was looking out my bedroom window and was shocked and terrified to see a coyote running through the field behind our house. My 5 yr old son was outside playing within 75 yards of it. We've only lived here a month (moved from a more rural area of the same town and never saw them there) and I had been hearing odd screams and howling at night. This confirms my suspisions but I thought they usually only come out at night. YIKES!!!
