I'm so homesick for my yard/habitat in Virginia! The one here has potential, but the one in VA was well on its way to realizing that potential. Big difference.

Thanks y'all! This wildflower garden is at Sportman's Lake in Cullman. I wasn't expecting to find a lot blooming but there were a few things as you can see.

Our Joe Pye is also blooming.
That bridge is totally awesome.
Great pictures

Your new camera takes wonderful pictures. Wish you were closer so you could enter some of them in our fair.

Pretty as they are individually, I'll bet they made beautiful combinations. I heard the Joe Pye weed is blooming up in Illinois, too - I like that plant.
Thanks, Rurality!

What wonderful pictures... but I especially love the new bridge. Wow, that's some nice work there.

My uncle-in-law built that bridge. Isn't it cool?

We had one little area of Joe Pye weed here but I think Hubby nicked it with the bush hog. Maybe it will come back next year.

Lovely photos, especially the Carolina Lily.

Your soap making is interesting, one of my hobbies (just for my own pleasure) is soy candle making, Dusty the little Halloween calico is very photogenic, I have a muted calico.

Lovely pictures. I love the bridge and the moss taking over the leaf.
