Earlier in the year I wrote about my sister's house. Here are some pictures I took at our dinner there earlier this month.
She told me once that she likes it when I mention her on the blog. Here's today's mention: When she gets home, I'm going to kill her for not calling or emailing from the cruise to let me know they're OK.
I'm hoping that they're far enough east that Hurricane Wilma isn't affecting them too badly. But still, I'm going to kill her.
She's got a green thumb
or two.
She has interesting little collections
and arranges them well.
Mom, already worried about bathing suits.

Sheesh! Look at the spotless floor. I'm embarrassed.
Oh yeah I forgot that part! Her house is always spotless. So's my Mom's. My brother and I did not inherit this gene.
And a house full of light. Lovely.
I was thinking the same thing about the floors!
I really like the first photograph, the cuttings in water.
Very cute! I liked seeing those little plastic monkeys -- hadn't seen those since I was a kid. Sure brought back memories :-)
What a nice house and lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing. I hope your sis appreciates the post!
I have that exact same "fishing cat", except I have a set of two of them!
Beautiful house. I don't think I will ever see such a spotless floor in my lifetime.
Now now, don't kill your sister! I'm sure that with all their modern technology that cruise ships stay well away from hurricane weather! She's probably thinking, "Sis knows better than worry!" WRONG!!
Nice clean house..
Our kitchen floor would be clean like that too if it weren't for that darn chick...
What kind of flower are those pretty pink ones????
I think death by hurricane might be better than death by sistericane.
It's funny how everyone noticed the clean floors right off! I guess I just take it for granted because my sister and my Mom are just like that, very clean and neat.
Yep their house is nicely situated to catch the light, especially in the kitchen. The whole house has a very nice layout actually.
J I don't know the name of that plant... I'll ask her just before I kill her. :)
Those cuttings make little trees, if I remember correctly. She gave me one once but sadly it did not survive my ownership.
The pretty flower is a wx hoya (http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/interiorscape/Hoya_carnosa.html) and I liked that picture too.
I amafraid I also like Rurality's simple, straightforward attitude, it made me laugh. And now she can just kill her.
I have those same damn management monkeys on my desk at work...
They are back safe and wondering why we were so worried... the were well away from the hurricane and had great weather the whole time!
