A year of blathering

I can't believe that I've been blathering on for a year now.

If you're tuning in late, here are a few golden oldies - one per month.

Eggs

Steadfast Plastic Articulated Man

Chick Lit

The Visitor

Postdiluvian (Baby)

You Again!

Butterfly Wrangling

Mystery Solved

Catalpa Worms

County Fair

Highly Collectible Art

Cute cats

Strange Yellow Fungi

It was difficult picking one post per month... sometimes there was too much good stuff going on and sometimes too little... Anyway I'm going to have to cheat and throw in this one too:

Proof that Chickens are Crazy

April was the best month, picture-wise. Lots of flowers!

Hooray for blathering, and congrats on your one-year blog-day! (Really, darling, you don't look a day over 6 months...) ;-)

I love this literal "look back" over the past year. Let's here it for many more!

Great photos. The one of the eggs is particularly well done; I got a good laugh from "chicklit"; and despite my resistance to cuteness, "cute cats" really worked for me. You made me realise I miss having chickens (we call them chooks over here): they're crazy because their brains are only big enough for one thought at a time. Like mine much of the time...

Great blog and photos! What kind of camera do you use? I'll be back for sure.

Your blog is a jewel. It doesn't need any wingdings or fancy flashy thingamabobs to keep us clicking. It shines simply on the strength of your photos and witty commentary.
An engineer, who makes soap and writes about bugs and chickens...where else can you find that?
Happy blogoversary!

Great pictures! That one chicken looks like it's just poking its head over to visit its neighbor!

Ditto on all the previous comments. Me and sweetie really enjoy your blog. I love the photos! Really wish you would print some hard copies to sell in my gallery. I know they would go over well. If you do that maybe I'll blog my house....'course its going SO slow nobody would be interested for long!

And what a good year it has been...Happy Blogiversary to you...and many more!

Thanks for all the kind words everybody! I have to say that a blogiversary is a lot more fun than a birthday... no worries about the blog getting grayer, creakier, hard of hearing, etc.

Sue I use an older digital camera, a Sony Mavica CD-1000. Small pixel count... about 2.1 megapixels.

Which is why, Weldergirl, that unfortunately I can't print anything out and have it look decent! You're such a sweetie to ask, and if I ever get a better camera I'll definitely give it a whirl. (Still think you need a blog!)
