Stop shouting those animoles

Mira and Turtleheart I owe you one.

Free, free, set them free

2. The last film I bought:
hook line and sinker

3. The last film I watched:
halfheartedly

4. Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
sillyfluff
eye candy
meaningful story
heartwrenching allegory
understated avant-garde comedy

Deja vu, all over again, only with music.

1. Total volume of music files on my computer:
area times depth

2. Last CD I bought was:
indy Canadian

3. Song playing right now:
soundtrack from the movie of my life

4. Five Songs I Listen to a lot, or That Mean a lot to Me:
by nice southern boys
by Canadian alt-country group
by US-based Dylan-influenced British pop-folky
by UK-based Dylan-influenced british pop-folky
by various people named John

same end for both:

5. Tag 5 people and have them put this in their journal/blog:
A dermatologist has removed the tags, for now. I am converting this one to a true meme, which means that you only copy it if you want to.

This is a very punky list, indeed. I like it very much. I may have to copy it to use in the future, and give you credit, of course!
I like your attitude. Excellent.

Canuckian, hee. The one I was thinking about - that I've listened to a lot over the years - is Blue Rodeo.

RD I was over-memed... 3 in one week! So smartypants answers were called for I thought.

Jerry I really had to think about that one for a while LOL. Age is slowing my brain, I think. :)

H&B this was my punishment for making you resort to watching things you shouldn't be watching.

Blue Rodeo are brilliant musicians who've been around forever and do a great live show. Truly one of my favourite bands of all time. I don't think they are too well-known in the States, which is not entirely a bad thing ;) but the following up here is huge and loyal.

Yeah, well the last laugh is on me. I couldn't get that song out of my head all day. My wife was getting mad 'cause I kept humming it on our hike.

...and then I switched to the YMCA song and that pretty much ruined the rest of my mind.

Maikopunk I think my favorite album by them is Casino. I think I've heard that one at least a million times.

Jerry - thanks a bunch, now you've ruined mine too! (Not that it had very far to go.)

BTW the post title is a (very obscure!) John Lennon reference. Just had to put that in, for anybody finding this through googling. Actually it should really read "Stob shouting those animoles". It's from his book "In His Own Write".
